Northwestern RB transfer lands at Louisville

According to this Chris Emma tweet Bobby Petrino has landed another Transfer and this time from the BIG10.

Former Northwestern RB Malin Jones will be attending Louisville next season. Jones was a 3 star RB out of high school ranked as high as 23rd at his position. Along with being an Illinois All State selection Jones was also named to the Max Preps All American team after rushing for nearly 5,000 yards in his career at Joliet Catholic.

At Northwestern Jones was suspended for a violation of team rules in his red shirt freshman year but along the way was named practice player of the week multiple times. Last season Jones played in 8 games but recorded just one catch and three rushes. At 6’0 205 lbs Jones has the tools to be a good player Bobby Petrino and with Dyer and Brown out the door this year Malin will add some great depth to the RB stable.
