Former Fairdale high school basketball coach and current King Of The Bluegrass director Lloyd Gardner announced this morning on The Drew Deener show that 5 star Louisville commit VJ King will play at Fairdale this season. Gardner did not give a specific date for the event but said it WILL NOT be apart of the King of the Bluegrass tournament in December.
Gardner also went on to say that this game is contingent on King signing with Louisville in the early period and has received confirmation from King’s high school coach that he plans to do just that. King’s AAU coach also confirmed with Jeff Greer of the Courier Journal yesterday that King would sign in November.
