Bobby Petrino announced in his weekly press conference that Soph. Kyle Bolin would get his second consecutive start for the Cards this Saturday against Virginia. Petrino told Bolin to not worry about the QB competition and to just “go play”.

Bolin started last week’s game in place of injured Lamar Jackson and threw for 362 yards and 3 TD’s, leading the offense to a 41-point day. This will be Bolin’s 4th start of his career, where he has posted a 1-2 record with the two losses coming at the hands of Georgia (last year’s bowl game) and now #1 Clemson (20-17).

Petrino never said whether or not Lamar Jackson would be used in certain packages or formations, but did say both him and Reggie Bonnafon were healthy and ready to play. #BobbyBall
