Myisha Hines-Allen was on fire for the Cardinals posting a career-high 27 points. Louisville left Syracuse buried in the snow, improving to 7-0 in the ACC.
Syracuse, N.Y.– Despite 28 Louisville turnovers, the No. 14 Cardinals took care of business defeating Syracuse, 71-53.
Syracuse won the tip, but it was the Cardinals who struck first on a Mariya Moore three. Louisville took an early 7-0 lead as Briahanna Jackson drove it in for two and Myisha Hines-Allen chipped in two. Cornelia Fondren ended the Orange’s scoring drought nailing a jumper for two. Syracuse only had three players post points in the first: Fondren, Bria Day and Julia Chandler connected on shots for the Orange.
