The first meeting between these two teams finished with a score of 72-65 favoring the Blue Devils at home. Duke is now winners of 5 straight games after a less than stellar start to ACC play they find themselves just one game out of first place. Louisville had a red hot start to ACC play, but suffered a 2 game losing streak to pull the Cards out of first. Louisville’s late rally in Durham proved to be too little too late, poor shooting from Damion Lee and awful play from Chinanu Onuaku (2 points, 3 rebounds) slowed the Cards to almost a halt at times. But this game is different, this game keeps the Cards hunting for what they’re ultimately playing for, an ACC regular season title. The winner of this game will be in a very good position, the loser will have some work to do. This game will be different, call me crazy but I have the Cards winning 78-64 with a Donovan Mitchell dunk on Brandon Ingram to cap off the day. Damion Lee will continue the hot shooting we saw in the second half, and Chinanu Onuaku will turn in another dominant performance like we saw against Syracuse.
