It’s a Big Monday for the Louisville Women’s Basketball team…

CARDS Return to the Top 10

The Cardinals returned to the top-10 in the AP Poll for the first time since November. Louisville fought their way back into national rankings in January after defeating then No.15/13 Florida State on January 1st and then No. 18 Duke on January 10th.

Since returning to the polls, the Cardinals have continued to dominate, losing only one game to ACC powerhouse Notre Dame.

Sophomore Stunner

Myisha Hines-Allen had a phenomenal week picking up consecutive double-doubles in the wins over the No. 19 South Florida and Virginia while nearly missing a third consecutive against Boston College.

On Monday afternoon, the sophomore was named ACC Player of the Week and College Sports Madness ACC Player of the Week.

Through three games, Hines-Allen racked up 21.7 points per game connecting on 61.4% of her shots. She added 9.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks.

The Cardinals continue their two game road stint as they fly to Coral Gables, Florida to take on No. 17 Miami on Thursday at 7PM.
