The Louisville Cardinals kept their hopes for an ACC regular season title alive tonight with a 67-60 on the road at Pittsburgh. It wasn’t pretty at times, the Cards suffered two long scoring droughts and were outrebounded by Pitt 34-28; however, the Cards pulled out a solid road win. Quentin Snider scored a team high 14 points, Damion Lee added 13, Deng Adel chipped in 12, and Chinanu Onuaku had a solid all around game with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The bigger story tonight, was David Levitch. Yes, you read that right. Levitch finished with 8 points and connected on two huge threes down the stretch. One of those threes tied the game. The other three gave the Cards the lead for good. Without Anas, Mangok, Spaulding, and a 0 point performance from Trey Lewis, it took everything from the Cards tonight. And they gave just that.

As stated earlier, Louisville kept their ACC title hopes alive tonight. The Cards improved their conference record to 11-4, tied with Miami for second place, and one game behind North Carolina(12-3). Louisville travels to Miami on Saturday at 2pm on WHAS. This team proved how deep they are tonight. They’ll need to do the same Saturday if they want the ACC title. I like our chances. Go Cards!
