The No. 6 Louisville Cardinals will look to bounce back from Wednesday’s loss when they travel to Indianapolis to take on the No. 16 Indiana Hoosiers Saturday at 12:30 on CBS.
Indiana is led in scoring by guard James Blackmon Jr. at 17.9 PPG. Blackmon Jr. headlines the high scoring Hoosier lineup, as a team they average 88.4 PPG.
Both teams enter this game coming off home losses in their conference openers. Tom Crean is more than a well-known villain of the Louisville program (ask Ellis Myles if you don’t believe me). No one really likes the state of Indiana, and the toll opening the day before this game is suspect to say the least. The stakes are obviously high in this game, and both teams need a bounce-back victory from demoralizing home losses.
The Cards may have had a hard time with Virginia, but that’s nothing new. The Cavalier’s style of play is unmatched in the college game, so I’m not thinking too heavily on that loss. I think the Cards bounce back in Indy tomorrow in a big way and beat Indiana by a score of 86-72. Rick has the team ready to move on from Wednesday and they do so impressively.
Go Cards!
