Louisville Baseball Sets School Record For Best Start To Season
The No.1 ranked Louisville Cardinals baseball team continues on their hot streak to start the 2017 season by setting a school record for most wins to start the season without a loss. Behind 7 shutout innings from pitcher Kade McClure, the Cards fended off a furious late inning comeback against the Boston College Eagles, and went on to win the game 6-4. The win puts them at 18-0 on the season, which breaks the tie with the 1957 squad for best start to the season.
The Cards are ranked No. 1 in four major college baseball polls, and look for their second consecutive ACC sweep on the season when they face Boston College at 1pm tomorrow at Jim Patterson Stadium.
