It’s a return home for former Ohio State defensive back Rodjay Burns, as the Louisville native has decided to transfer to U of L.
Burns, who played at Trinity HS in Louisville, made the announcement on his Instagram account today. He played in six games as a true freshman for the Buckeyes last season, recording an interception return for a touchdown against Bowling Green. Burns was originally committed to Louisville in the 2016 class, before flipping to the Buckeyes at the last second.

Before starting his collegiate career, Burns excelled as a two-way star for the Shamrocks, finishing as a runner-up for Mr. Football in the state his senior season.
After sitting out the 2017 season, Burns will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
