With the 177th pick of the sixth round in the MLB Draft, UofL starting pitcher Kade McClure has been drafted by the Chicago White Sox. He joins Lincoln Henzman, who was drafted 60 picks prior to him by the White Sox.
In 17 starts, McClure has posted a record of 8-3 with a 3.43 ERA in 97 innings pitched. He has also recorded 102 strikeouts while only allowing 35 walks. His 17 starts leads all of Division 1 baseball, tied with 21 other starting pitchers.
