Welcome back Cards fans, to This Week in Cardinal Athletics! All in all, we had a pretty successful, if not extremely stressful, first full week of Cardinal Athletics this college year! Let’s get to it!

Women’s Soccer (4-1-0)

Women’s Volleyball (2-3)

Vs #24 Western Kentucky: W 3-1

Vs Kent State: W 3-0

Vs Illinois: L 0-3

Next Week: Vs UC Irvine on 9/8 (3 PM, Neutral Court), Vs Weber State on 9/8 (8 PM, Neutral Court), At UNLV on 9/9 (5 PM)

Field Hockey (3-1-0)

At Ohio State: L 1-2

Vs Kent State: W 5-1

Well folks, that about wraps it up for the week. We add one more sport next week as our Men’s Tennis team begins their season at the Southern Intercollegiates. As always, Go Cards, and good luck to our sports teams in the coming week! (Also Lamar Jackson for Heisman #2)
