After hours of deliberation, the Universiry of Louisville’s Athletics Association has unanimously voted to terminate Hall of Fame head coach, Rick Pitino’s employment for “just cause.”
The move comes less than a month after Louisville was tied to a pay-for-play FBI investigation.

Rick Pitino served 16 seasons as the head coach of the Louisville Cardinals.  Under Coach Pitino, the Cardinals made 14 NCAA appearances, including three final four trips and a National Championship in 2013. Pitino’s record at Louisville is 415 – 141.
