Women’s Hoops Racks Up Accolades At ACC Media Day


Jeff Walz’s team is racking up the accolades at ACC Media Day.

As announced in a previous post, junior guard Asia Durr was tabbed ACC Preseason Player of the Year by the ACC coaches.

In addition, Durr and senior forward Myisha Hines-Allen earned All-ACC preseason honors from both the league’s coaches and the Blue Ribbon Panel. While, Freshman Dana Evans was one of five players named to the Newcomer Watch List.

The Cardinals were picked to finish second by the league’s 15 coaches, receiving one first place vote. While the Blue Ribbon Panel also pegged Louisville to finish second, receiving five first place votes.
