Photo Gallery: Second Red-White Scrimmage

The University of Louisville Men’s Basketball team took the court Friday night for the final Red-White Scrimmage of the year. The White team dominated the game, winning by a final score of 96-64.

Acting Head Coach David Padgett switched up the teams for this scrimmage. The White team was made up of King, Snider, Adel, Spalding, Mahmoud and Griffin. The White team was coached by Coach Padgett himself. The Red team was represented by Thomas, Perry, Williams, Redding, Enoch, Sutton and Nwora. The Red team was coached by Trent Johnson.

Coach Padgett said that the result was not a surprise. The Red team was made up of mostly freshmen and they were overmatched from the start. However, freshman Malik Williams impressed as he led the Red team with 21 points on 5-10 from 3 and 11 rebounds. The White team was led by team captain Deng Adel (21 pts) and VJ King (20 pts, 10 reb).

The Cards have their first exhibition of the year on Monday October 30th at 7:00 pm against Kentucky Wesleyan at the KFC Yum! Center.
