The Louisville Cardinals (10-3) host Pittsburgh (8-6) tonight at 9pm on ESPNU. The Cardinals look to bounce back tonight after their last game against Kentucky, which left some scary impressions.
Pittsburgh is still struggling without former head coach Jamie Dixon (who has TCU playing as well as anyone in the nation, good move Pitt), so Louisville should be able to secure a much needed confidence booster tonight. Pittsburgh only averages 0.1 points per game more than they allow (68.7 PPG vs 68.6 PPGA).
Louisville is the better team tonight. By how many points, I’m not sure. I’m more interested in seeing how Q, Deng and the other leaders look after the last time we saw them.
Prediction: Louisville 75-Pittsburgh 61.
