Coming off their first ACC game/win, Louisville will look to get another first out of the way this season when they play their first ACC road game today. Louisville takes on No. 25 Clemson today at 12 on the ACC Network.
Clemson has won 9 games in a row entering today’s contest. Their lone loss (13-1) was early in the season against Temple, but since then they’ve been playing great basketball. 5 Clemson players average double-figures in scoring, so they’re a well-balanced team that can beat you with whoever has the hot hand.
Louisville will certainly be tested today, especially since their last road game didn’t exactly go well. In order to win, Louisville will have to hold 2 of Clemson’s 5 players that average 10+ PPG to less than 10 points.
This is the type of game the Cards need to win. Louisville needs to continue to move forward, play the same style of basketball that we saw against Pitt, and improve every game. This will be a tough one today, but I think the Cards put together a late run that puts the game out of reach with a few minutes left.
