Louisville vs Wake Forest: Cards Bounce Back Against Struggling Deacons

Louisville trailed by 8 points early in the first half, but after the following timeout the Cards took control and never looked back en route to an emphatic 96-77 victory.

Louisville earned another crucial ACC win tonight and that’s all that matters. The fact that the Cardinal offense looked as good as it did tonight and the press looked to make a real impact on the outcome are things to focus on going forward.

Louisville was led by VJ King’s 15 points. Quentin Snider and Deng Adel each chipped in 14 points. However, those players weren’t needed for much of the 2nd half as reserves such as, Dwayne Sutton, Ryan McMahon and Darius Perry led the Cards as they pulled away.

Up next: Louisville travels to Virginia for a Wednesday night matchup against the 2nd ranked Cavaliers at 7pm on ESPN2.

Go Cards!
