Louisville vs Wake Forest: Pregame Breakdown

Louisville hosts Wake Forest tonight at 8pm in the KFC Yum! Center. Louisville is coming off a tough OT road loss against Miami, but the Cards have looked the best they’ve looked all season since the start of 2018. Wake Forest, on the other hand, comes into this game on a 6-game losing streak and trying to find answers.

Louisville only sits as a 9-point favorite right now, which is surprising. Wake has played some close games during this losing streak, but against Duke (twice) and Virginia they’ve lost those 3 games by a combined 42 points. They lost star Center John Collins to the NBA and the void he left behind has caused issues since ACC play has begun.

Louisville is the better team and has been developing into a team that believes they can beat anyone. As long as the Cards don’t take Wake lightly, tonight’s game should end with another W in the column for Louisville.

Louisville 83 – Wake Forest 68

Go Cards!
