The Louisville Men’s Basketball team continued ACC play on Saturday night against Wake Forest. The Cards were looking to bounce back after letting a win against Miami slip through their hands. The Cards found what they were looking for, finishing the night with a 96-77 win and shooting 51% for the game.

Louisville was led by VJ King and Quentin Snider, who each had 15 points. Deng Adel contributed 14 points and Dwayne Sutton came off of the bench to score 13. Louisville got 42 points from their bench, but that’s not the only thing they supplied on Saturday night. The bench continued their trend of fantastic celebrations (see below) led by none other than Darius Perry.

As mentioned earlier the Cards shot 51% from the field, including 40% from 3 and 82% from the free throw line. Wake Forest did win the rebounding battle 39-32, but Louisville made up for it by forcing Wake into 20 turnovers, while only giving the ball up 7 times themselves.

The Cards return to action Wednesday the 31st when they travel to Virginia, a team that has been, in the words of Coach Padgett, their “Kryptonite”. The game is scheduled to start at 7 PM on ESPN 2.

Go Cards!
