Myisha Hines-Allen Named 2018 Katrina McClain Award Finalist

The accolades keep rolling in this week for the Cardinals. Today, it was announced that Louisville senior, Myisha Hines-Allen has been tabbed as a finalist for the 2018 Katrina McClain Award.

The award, in its inaugural year, honors the top Power Forward in Division I Women’s Basketball.

Hines-Allen is averaging 9.9 rebounds, which leads the ACC and puts her at 34th nationally. Her 308 total rebounds on the season ranks her 16th in the country. She’s also averaging 13.7 points per game.

Myisha’s 14 double-doubles this season is tied for a league best and her 43 career double-doubles makes her the active ACC career leader in double-doubles.

The winner will be determined by a combination of fan votes and input from the Basketball Hall of Fame’s selection committee.
