Chris Mack is hammering the 2019 class hard. Just last Friday he had a visit from 4 Star G Josh Nickelberry. Now, on June 2, he has a visit scheduled with another highly touted 4 Star G named Jahmius Ramsey.
Louisville will host 2019 four-star Jahmius Ramsey for an unofficial visit on June 2nd, per source. #Cards

Ramsey, a 6’4 180 lbs combo guard, plays for IMG Academy, but is originally from TX. He is the 3rd ranked CG and 35th ranked overall player in the 2019 class per 247sports.com.
Ramsey has offers from Virginia Tech, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Oregon, IU, Baylor, Oklahoma, and many others.
Ramsey averaged 19.4 points per game while shooting 60% from the field and 46% from 3 for IMG Academy this year. He also averaged 3.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game per prepcircuit.com.
On the Nike EYBL AAU circuit, while playing for Team Drive Nation, Ramsey averaged 13.7 points per game. He shot 46% from the field, but only 27% from the 3 point line. Ramsey also averaged 3.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.1 steals per game per d1circuit.com.
Ramsey is a big, physical G; the kind Coach Chris Mack usually likes in his system. He would definitely have ample opportunity to contribute as a freshman for Coach Mack as UofL is lacking depth in the back court.
As a combo G, Ramsey could likely play either PG or SG for UofL. Regardless, landing a player of Ramsey’s caliber would bode well for UofL’s future both on the court and in long-term recruiting.
