The day after Chris Mack landed a big time CG in Josh Nickelberry, he picks up right where he left off by getting a visit from 2019 4 Star SF Jaelyn Withers.
Four-star forward Jaelyn Withers (https://t.co/8ZB1nB3Dn3) is currently on an unofficial visit to Louisville, per sources.

Withers is a 6’8 212 lbs player out of Huntersville, NC. He plays for North Mecklenburg High School and for Team Loaded NC on the AAU circuit. He averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for Team Loaded NC during the 2018 Adidas Gauntlet.
Withers has offers from a host of schools including Virginia, Virginia Tech, NC State, Clemson, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M. Mike Pegues is currently his primary recruiter according to 247sports.com.
Withers would be another huge get for Coach Mack in the 2019 class. At 6’8 and with his versatility on offense, Withers is a perfect fit for Mack’s 1 in, 4 out offensive philosophy. He can shoot mid range or 3 point shots and drive to the hoop and finish. His versatility should extend to his defense as he should be able to defend multiple positions.
It’s interesting to note that Josh Nickelberry appears to be friends with Withers and, according to Jeff Greer of the Courier Journal, is texting Withers while he is currently on his visit.
New Louisville pledge Josh Nickelberry tells me he is exchanging texts today with fellow NC native Jaelyn Withers, a 4-star, top-100 wing who is on an unofficial visit to Louisville right now. "Me being the first commitment, they can use that as a centerpiece moving forward."

Withers is a prospect that could easily rise in the rankings to 5 Star status by the time his senior year is over. He’s a tough, athletic, versatile player that would thrive in Mack’s system should he choose to commit to UofL.
