UofL Football is losing talented freshman QB Jordan Travis as he will be transferring out of the program.
The 6’3 195 lbs Travis was a 3 Star QB in the 2018 class according to 247sports. Cort Dennison was his primary recruiter and he chose UofL over offers from Georgia, Baylor, UCF, and South Florida, among others.
Travis played sparingly this season for the Cards. He played in parts of 3 games for UofL against Indiana State, Georgia Tech, and Boston College. His most extensive action came against Georgia Tech where he threw a TD pass.

Louisville’s Jordan Travis to Leave Program
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville quarterback Jordan Travis has left the program, head coach Bobby Petrino announced on Thursday. Travis, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound freshman, appeared in three games and completed 4-of-14 passes for 71 yards and one score this season. He went 4 for 9 for 71 yards and connected with Tutu Atwell on a 29-yard touchdown pass versus Georgia Tech.
“Jordan Travis approached me Tuesday about transferring, and we had a productive discussion about his future,” Petrino said. “He talked about the possibility of getting closer to home and his family, and we agreed that it might be a better situation for him personally. Jordan is a terrific young man and I wish him nothing but the best in his collegiate career.”
