Louisville vs Vermont: Postgame Recap

The Louisville Cardinals took care of business at home tonight against a dangerous mid-major in Vermont. Vermont had previously played with Kansas for a full 40 minutes, but the Cards handled business tonight with a final score of 86-78.

Louisville was led by Jordan Nwora’s 22 points off the bench on 7/11 shooting. Darius Perry paced the Cards early and finished strong with 17 points. VJ King and Steven Enoch each had 14 points to round out the Cardinals’ scoring effort.

Despite the seemingly narrow margin of victory, Louisville controlled this game from start to finish. The Cards led by as many as 22 points in the 2nd half and put together a solid performance against a likely-tournament team. Tonight was a big night for the team going forward.
