The Louisville Cardinals (5-2) play host to Central Arkansas (3-4) in a non-conference matchup tonight at 7pm inside the Yum! Center. The game can be seen on the ACC Network. Louisville currently sits as 20-point favorites.
Central Arkansas is led by three guards. Sophomore Deandre Jones (No. 55) leads the team in points and assists with 14.3 and 4.3, respectively. Freshman Eddy Kayouloud (No. 14) is second on the team in points with 13.6 per game. Senior Thatch Unruh (No. 25) rounds out the guard trio with 10.3 points per game. The Bears’ starting center is sophomore Hayden Koval. Koval wears No. 15, but won’t need a number as an identifier because he stands at 7’0″ tall. However, he only averages 5.9 rebounds per game to go along with his 10.3 points.
The Bears have already played a couple of Power 5 schools this season. They lost their first game of the year to Missouri 68-55. They also played fellow ACC member, Pittsburgh, and lost that game 97-71.
Louisville should have no problem tonight. The Cards won’t have a size advantage, but will undoubtedly be the much better team. Louisville rolls from start to finish tonight.
Prediction:
Louisville 92 – Central Arkansas 63
Go Cards!
