The Louisville Men’s Basketball team welcomed their in state rival, the Kentucky Wildcats, on Saturday afternoon. Kentucky was able to control the game and they had the lead for 36 of the 40 minutes played. UK dominated the paint and had more than double the number of points off of turnovers than Louisville had.
Louisville shot just 36% for the game, while Kentucky connected on 50% of their shots. Louisville was led by Christen Cunningham, who scored 20 points and had 4 assists. Jordan Nwora was close behind, with 17 points and 7 rebounds.
Louisville has completed out of conference play at 9-4 and move on to conference play on January 6th, when Miami visits the KFC Yum! Center.
