TWICA: January 14th

Welcome back to our weekly review of Cardinal Athletics! We had a pretty stacked week of sports here in the Ville, so let’s get right to it!

#15 Swimming and Diving

Our 15th-ranked Cardinals (according to collegeswimming.com) took on the #7 Missouri Tigers. Both our men’s and women’s teams were able to pull out wins, with our men winning 178-122, and the women winning 163-137. Notable results include senior Alina Kendzior winning both the 100 and 200 backstroke, the men winning the 200 medley relay (Nicolas Albiero, Evgenii Somov, Zach Harting, and Andrej Barna), and senior Sophie Cattermole winning the 1000 freestyle in 10:03.45, a full 8 seconds ahead of the runner-up. Congrats to our Cards on a great performance!
