Track and Field
Both our men’s and women’s teams had a very successful outing at the Notre Dame Invitational, the women winning with 145.5 points, and the men tying with host Notre Dame for first with 126 points. The Cardinals were led by multiple event wins, those are: Junior Anthony McRoberts winning the men’s triple jump and high jump, Sophomore Brooke Raglin winning the women’s 200 Meters and 60 Meter Dash (this with a collegiate-best time of 7.46), Freshman Aaron Johnson winning the men’s 60 Meter Hurdles, Freshman Sterling Warner winning the Men’s 60 Meter Dash, Junior Dorcas Wasike winning the women’s Mile (with a personal best of 4:48.63), Sophomore Donald McClinton, Jr. winning the Men’s 200 Meters, Sophomore Gabriela Leon winning the women’s pole vault (setting a NEW school record with a vault of 4.31m/14-1.75), Junior Renate van Tonder winning the women’s Triple Jump, and sophomore Makenli Forrest winning the women’s Weight Throw (throwing a personal best of 21.72m/71-3.25). Congrats to all our Cardinals on an absolutely spectacular performance!
