Louisville kept its hot streak going on Thursday night when the N.C. State Wolfpack visited the Yum! Center. The Cards ended the night with a 84-77 upset. The game was tight for the whole 40 minutes, but Louisville did have the lead for almost 30 of those minutes. The Cards forced 23 turnovers and converted those into 37 points. Louisville had a tough time on the glass, where they gave up 15 offensive rebounds. However, N.C. State was only able to score 7 second chance points.
Jordan Nwora had a slow night by his standards, only scoring 13 points. Christen Cunningham (17 pts) and Malik Williams (14 pts) stepped up, along with Steven Enoch and Khwan Fore, who each had 10 points. The Cards got to the line 29 times and hit 24 of them.
Louisville returns to the Yum! Center on Saturday at 2 PM for a revenge game against Pittsburgh.
