Louisville trailed at halftime but took control in the second half to get to 6-1 in the ACC with a convincing 66-51 win against Pittsburgh Saturday. Louisville is now 15-5 on the year and remains tied for first place in the ACC.
Jordan Nwora led the Cards with 17 points. Steven Enoch notched his 2nd double-double of the year with 12 points and 11 rebounds. For the Panthers, Jared Wilson-Frame led the way with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Pitt only managed to score 18 points in the second half after leading by four at the break.
This is a win that Louisville needed considering they just lost to this team less than three weeks ago. Pitt led at halftime, but Louisville took a lead early in the 2nd and extended it to double figures at the 6-minute mark. At 6-1, this is Louisville’s best start in ACC play since joining the conference in the 2014-15 season.
