Louisville will try and get back into the win column today with a Saturday matchup against the Clemson Tigers at home.
Clemson comes into today at 15-9 and 5-6 in the ACC. Senior guard Marcquise Reed leads the Tigers with 18.9 points per game. Clemson has won 4 out of 5 after starting league play 1-5, but most recently lost to Miami by 1 point on Wednesday.
Louisville will look to get a win after losing 3 out of its last 4 games. The Cards lost to 2nd ranked Duke on Tuesday after leading by 23 points with under 10 minutes to play. It could take a while for that wound to heal, but they’ll need to forget about that loss and move on as they enter the home stretch of ACC play.
Louisville should win this game at home. The Cards are still tied for 4th in the ACC and are in contention for a double bye in the conference tournament. They’ve played some really good basketball the last 2 games but were unable to finish it out. Clemson will know that, so Louisville will have to come out and put together a full 40 minute performance at home today.
The game tips at noon and will be televised live on ESPN.
