Preview: Louisville at Boston College

Louisville travels to Boston College for a Wednesday night matchup. Louisville enters the game at 18-10 and 9-6 in the ACC. Boston College is currently 13-13 and 4-10.

Ky Bowman leads Boston College, averaging 19.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Wynston Tabbs, Nik Popovic, and Jordan Chatman each average over 13 points per game for the Eagles as well. Jordan Nwora still leads the Cards in both scoring (17.3) and rebounding (7.5).

Louisville has lost 5 out of its last 7 games after starting 7-1 in the ACC. This is their easiest game in over a month. The Cardinals beat the Eagles 80-70 at the KFC Yum Center on January 16th. Jordan Nwora led Louisville in that game with 32 points.

Louisville needs to bounce back after a rough month that has seen them fall out of the top 25 polls completely and has dropped their NCAA tournament projected seeding too. A victory over Boston College tonight won’t be viewed as a big win for this program, but the Cards have only won 2 games in the past month. A road win in conference play could be a big confidence booster, as this team gets closer to postseason play.

The game tips at 9:00 ET and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports South in Louisville. The Cards are currently 5.5-point favorites.

Prediction:

Louisville 81, Boston College 68
