Louisville head Coach Jeff Walz has been named a Werner Ladder Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year semifinalist.
The Atlanta Tip-off Club announced the 10 semifinalists, four of which come from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Coach Walz, a finalist for the award last year, is seeking his first Naismith Coach of the Year honor.
On March 21st, the list of ten will be narrowed to four. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite women’s college coach by visiting naismithtrophy.com between March 22nd – April 3rd. The fan vote accounts for five percent of the overall vote.
The 2019 Werner Ladder Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year will be announced on April 6th.
