The U of L women’s basketball team will have a huge non-conference showcase next season, as they head to the Virgin Islands for the 2019 Paradise Jam.
U of L, along with seven other schools (Baylor, Indiana, Oklahoma State, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas-Arlington, and Washington State), will compete in the women’s tournament from Nov. 28-30.
The Paradise Jam features two four-team divisions competing in a round-robin format. U of L is slated to play UT-Arlington, Oklahoma State, and Oregon in the Island Division.
The Cardinals begin tournament play with a 1 p.m. game versus Texas-Arlington on November 28th. They’ll also face Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. on November 29th, and Oregon at 3:15 p.m. EDT on November 30th. Louisville’s game against Oregon will also mean the Cards will likely play against Oregon guard Sabrina Ionescu, who returned for her senior season and will likely be a contender for National Player of the Year.
#CardNation @Bballtravelers will be announcing travel packages on June 1st. The package dates are November 26-December 1st. @UofLWBB plays November 28, 29, 30. Package includes hotel with water views, ground transportation, and game tickets. 😎🏀🏝 https://t.co/v7qghGrm39
