Big Time 2020 Prospect Schedules Official Visit To UofL Football

Scott Satterfield has 21 commits in his 2020 class. Now, he is looking to fill out the class before the early signing period comes in December. This weekend, he has a big time 2020 prospect coming into town for an official visit. 3 Star FL DE Latarie Kinsler is set to visit UofL this coming Sunday, September 1st.

Kinsler was a one time Louisville commit. He committed to the Cards in July of 2017 and decommitted October of last year. However, the new coaching staff has reconnected with Kinsler and he seems very receptive to them. In fact, he unofficially visited UofL on July 27 and now he’s coming back to visit again, this time officially. It definitely seems that this UofL coaching staff has made an impression on this high level player and that there is serious interest between the two parties.

Kinsler is 6’2 1/2 204 lbs and has a host of offers including offers from elite programs such as LSU, Oregon, Tennessee, Miami, Nebraska, Penn State, USC, and South Carolina, among many others. He attends Pahokee High School in Pahokee, FL and is ranked 375 nationally and 15 nationally at his position of WDE, according to 247sports composite rankings.

Kinsler is a very smart player on the field. He’s very explosive at the snap and is a dangerous pass rusher. However, he isn’t just a pass rushing specialist. He is very good against the run as well. His main asset is a quick acceleration and good speed. One other asset is his motor. He is always bringing high effort and high energy on every play. His potential as a disruptive force along the defensive front is through the roof.

If UofL is able to somehow get a commitment from Latarie Kinsler, it would be a huge, huge win for this coaching staff. He is full of elite potential and just based on the offer sheet alone he is obviously an elite talent. If you look at the current defensive commits that UofL has, Kinsler fits right in with this class; the perfect mold of what Scott Satterfield and Bryan Brown want in a member of their front seven.
