Louisville Men’s Basketball Will Get A Visit From A 4 Star 2020 Forward This Weekend

Louisville Men’s Basketball has one commitment for 2020 in the person of number 1 JUCO Jay Scrubb. They have had some unfortunate luck on the recruiting trail recently, but a new target is emerging.

As first reported by Jake Weingarten of UofL Rivals, 4 Star F D’Andre Davis will officially visit Louisville this weekend. The recent Nebraska decommit is a player Louisville is just now getting involved with. He is a regional player from Indianapolis and plays for Lawrence Central High School.

The 6’5 170 lbs Davis has offers from Nebraska, Bradley, Indiana State, Evansville, and Southern Illinois, among others. He is ranked as the 95th overall player and the 21st best SF in the class per 247sports composite rankings.

Louisville likely won’t be the only Power 5 to get involved with Davis. This SF has a nice jumper and can get to the rim and finish through contact. His jumper extends beyond the arc and he’s fairly quick for his size. Davis is a player that can score at all three levels and should be able to guard multiple positions.

Davis played on the Nike EYBL AAU circuit and he averaged 17.8 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, 2.2 assists per game, and 1.2 steals per game. He shot 40.8% from the field, 34% from beyond the arc, and 86.9% from the free throw line according to d1circuit.com.

D’Andre Davis fits Mack’s mold of player in the fact he is tough and versatile. He has good size and plays with effort. This recruitment is one to keep a close eye on Card fans.
