For the first time since joining the ACC, the Louisville Cardinals are the preseason favorite to win the ACC.
The ACC head coaches and the Blue Ribbon Panel selected the Cardinals to win the conference ahead of NC State.
The ACC also announced individual preseason accolades.
Louisville junior guard, Dana Evans, and sophomore guard, Elizabeth Balogun, were both named to the 2019-2020 Preseason All ACC Team. Louisville freshman, Nyah Green, was named to the Newcomer Watch List.
The Cardinals open the season on November 5th against WKU at the KFC Yum! Center.
