With less than one week until tip off, the Preseason AP Poll has been released.
The Louisville Cardinals clock in at # 9.
The Cardinals finished last season with a 32 – 4 record. Louisville also said goodbye to three key players – Asia Durr, Sam Fuehring and Arica Carter.
Despite the loss of the three starters, Louisville has reloaded. The Cardinals picked up a highly touted pair from Georgia Tech, Elizabeth Balogun and Elizabeth Dixon. Louisville also returns graduate Yacine Diop, along with seniors Bionca Dunham, Jazmine Jones, Kylee Shook and Jessica Laemmle.
The Cardinals tip off the season on Tuesday, November 5th at 7PM against WKU.

POLL ALERT: For the first time, Oregon is No. 1 in The AP Top 25 women’s basketball poll. The Ducks received 25 of the 28 first-place votes. No. 2 Baylor received the other three. Stanford, Maryland and UConn round out the top five.
