Louisville Football returns to action this Saturday in a night game at NC State. They look to secure that all important 6th win and bowl eligibility. The Cards are breaking out the uniform combo they wore in another big win earlier this season. They are going with the black helmet, white jersey, and black pant combo; the same combo they wore during their huge road win at Wake Forest.

It’s the same black helmet we have worn all year: all black with black facemask and black Cardinal head outlined in red. It is a standard finish, not chrome.
The jersey is the standard white jersey with red numbers and lettering. The shoulder has the white wings outlined in black and red. The ACC, Adidas logo, and College Football 150 patches are all in the same places and are the same colors as before.
The pants are standard black with the the white old English L outlined in red on the outer upper thigh of the leg.
The cleats and socks are both black. The cleats have white accents. They have a white Adidas logo on one side and three stripes on the other side of the cleats. The socks have a white Adidas logo.
Accessories are in black and white. Sweatbands are white with a red Adidas logo. Arm sleeve is black with a white Adidas logo. The gloves are black with a white Adidas logo on the back.
I like this uniform combo because it’s aesthetically pleasing and it is a uni combo that we wore during a big, unexpected victory. Let’s hope the Cards play as well in them Saturday against NC State as they did at Wake Forest and get that 6th win.
