Louisville sophomore WR Tutu Atwell was a game breaker on the field this season. His speed and quickness were too much to handle for most any defense Louisville faced. His productivity caught the eyes of Pro Football Focus and earned him a spot as a PFF First Team All-American at WR.
Atwell had 61 receptions for 1129 yards and 12 TDs this season. He was definitely the go-to big play receiver for the Cards and became the first Cardinals receiver since Harry Douglas to have a thousand yard season. That’s an interesting stat considering UofL has had receivers like Devante Parker and Eli Rogers in the intervening years. Along with this honor, Atwell was also named a First Team All-ACC WR today.
Congrats to Tutu on yet another big honor. Read more about Tutu and this honor below.

Atwell is the Cardinals’ first first-team All-American since quarterback Lamar Jackson swept numerous first team accolades during the 2016 season.
