The Music City Bowl victory against Mississippi State was one for the ages for Louisville Football. The Cards were coming off a 2-10 season and no one in the preseason believed this team would sniff a bowl. However, the new coaching staff headed by Scott Satterfield believed this team was capable of more than what the college football world did. He would be proven right.
8 wins, a second place finish in the ACC Atlantic, and a bowl win over an SEC opponent were all special achievements. This season was a magical ride and this bowl game, in particular, was a culmination of the season.
For such a momentous victory, the new Cards Football video crew, who has done an excellent job, gave us this momentous video to remember the bowl victory with. It has inside looks at the pregame warmups, game action, and postgame celebrations. The music used and the cutting and interweaving of the highlights are fitting of an Oscar-worthy short film.
