
On Friday afternoon, the Cardinals got a stellar pitching performance from Auburn transfer Chardonnay Harris. She pitched a no hitter for the first time in her career. Chardonnay struck out four batters and only walked one batter. Redshirt sophomore Taylor Roby led the Cardinals offense with her 5th home run of the season and 2 RBI’s. The Cards used a seven-run 5th inning to cap theΒ 9-0 victory.Β

Game #2 vs Wichita State:
The Cards jumped out a to an early 5-0 lead in the bottom of 1st inning with a two run single by Taylor Roby. Sophomore Cassady Greenwood went 3-3 with two runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. The Cardinals had the most stolen bases since Morehead State in 2019 with a 7 stolen bases. Taylor Roby pitched five shutout innings only allowing two hits. This was the Cardinals 2nd straight win.Β
