Cardinal Forever Alhaji Mohammed Is A Hall Of Famer

Many people remember former Louisville G Alhaji Mohammed. He was a JUCO transfer who played significant minutes for the Cards for 3 years. He was both a starter and a key player off the bench; a defensive dynamo that could add some scoring punch when need be.

After his career as a Cardinal concluded, Mohammed went overseas and has been an excellent player. Two of his absolute best seasons were with France Pro B club Limoges. He played 2 seasons for them and he performed excellent in both. During his first season, he averaged 19.2 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 2.7 assists per game. His second season virtually matched his first. Mohammed averaged 16.6 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, and 3.4 assists per game. Mohammed became a stat sheet stuffer. He contributed in all phases of the game of basketball as a SG in that league.

Mohammed’s career overseas as a whole, and with Limoges specifically, led to him being inducted into the Limoges Hall of Fame. This is an amazing achievement and shows that UofL players are making impacts all over the world. Congrats to Alhaji Mohammed from us here at CSZ.
