Louisville Women’s Basketball Loses Two Players To The Transfer Portal

Louisville Women’s Basketball has lost two guards to the transfer portal in as many days. Redshirt sophomore and 2018 Kentucky Miss Basketball Seygan Robins has entered the transfer portal. She joins fellow redshirt sophomore and 2017 Kentucky Miss basketball Lindsey Duvall, who placed her name in the portal Monday.

It’s not hard to speculate that the lack of playing time combined with the returning and incoming talent helped both players make this decision. It’s going to be a deep backcourt and playing time was going to be hard to come by.

Seygan, a 5-10 guard averaged 1.6 points and 0.8 assists her freshman year and played in 26 games. She only played two games during her sophomore season before redshirting. Robins will have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Lindsey redshirted her true freshman year due to a knee injury, but played in 26 games and averaged 3.1 ppg and shot over 40% from beyond the arc as a redshirt freshman. As a redshirt sophomore, Lindsey saw action in 23 games while averaging 2.0ppg.

Both are welcome back if they can’t find a suitable fit per Jeff Walz.
