Mekhi Becton is a mountain of a man. He throws other big men around on the field like they’re rag dolls. However, Mekhi’s big stature is only matched by his big heart. He recently virtually visited Goryeb Children’s Hospital, located in Morristown, NJ, and spoke with some of the pediatric patients.

Becton spoke with 3 young men named Jason, Eli, and Larry. They were all curious how he ran so fast at the combine and how he pushed the truck up a hill that was featured in a viral video. The best part of the video was seeing the excitement when Mekhi invited all 3 boys to a New York Jets game. The smiles and happiness were something that, in the trying times we are all enduring, will give anyone who watches the video a smile. It was a wonderful thing to see how Mekhi touched the lives of these boys and gave them happiness while they are in the hospital.
Every Louisville fan should be proud to have had him in Louisville for 3 years and I’m sure we all hope he will return frequently when he can. He’s a big guy with a big heart and personality. I think I can speak for many Card fans when I say we can’t wait to see Mekhi in his number 77 making pancakes on Sunday. Hopefully, we will get to see video when these wonderful boys get to go to the game and meet the mountain of a man they root for.
