Louisville Commit Benjamin Perry Will Play In Under Armour All-American Game

Louisville S commit Benjamin Perry was officially invited to participate in the Under Armour All-American game back on July 3rd. Today, the 4 Star prospect committed to play in that game.

Benjamin Perry is now officially an Under Armour All-American. This prestigious honor has been bestowed on quite a few college and NFL stars since its inception in 2008. It has become one of the premier high school All-American games in the country. Perry joins former Card WR and Trinity High School product James Quick as UofL players to play in the game.

Perry is well deserving of the honor. The Chicago native is ranked as the 22nd best S prospect in the 2021 class according to 247sports. His 2019 season showed Perry is a multifaceted defender in the secondary. He recorded 75 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, a sack, forced 2 fumbles, had 9 interceptions, and returned one of those for a TD. In other words, Perry isn’t just a ballhawk, but a hammer as well. He can play deep or in the box. Under Armour saw Benjamin Perry’s gifts and deemed him a worthy candidate.

Hopefully, Cardinal fans will get to watch their future S compete in this prestigious game. The Under Armour All-American Game is scheduled for January 2nd, 2021 and will take place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL. Time and network are pending though it will likely be aired on one of ESPN’s channels.
