The Cards first game against their lone out-of-conference foe Western Kentucky is set for September 12th at 8 pm. It will air on the ACC Network. A week later, their matchup with Miami at Cardinal Stadium will air on ABC in one of two prime spots: 3:30 pm or 7:30 pm. Then, their game against Georgia Tech on October 9th will be featured on ESPN at 7 pm. On November 20th, their game against the Orange of Syracuse will be featured on ESPN at 7:30 pm. Oh, and the epic return to Notre Dame Stadium will air on NBC on October 17th at 2:30 pm.
As you can see by the networks and kickoff times, the national perception of Louisville is quite high this season. That’s 4 games airing on national networks and all of them in prime television time slots. It’s too bad the crowd won’t be allowed to be as big as I think it would’ve been had Covid-19 not come along. However, I expect the TV ratings to be through the roof in the Louisville TV market and it will definitely help put a spot light on our outstanding school and football program.
