Louisville is preparing to face the Hokies of Virginia Tech for the first time since joining the ACC in 2014. Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach Dwayne Ledford and TE Ean Pfeifer met with media after practice to discuss last week’s thrilling victory over Georgia Tech and preview the matchup with the Hokies.
Ean spoke mainly about what made him decide to come back this season, when he made the decision, and how the Cards are working to build off of last week’s performance. He also discusses why he decided to move from the offensive line to the tight end position and how the transition has gone.
Coach Ledford discusses Javian Hawkins and his importance to the offense, the offensive line’s excellent performance against FSU, the use of 4 tight ends on the field at one time during a few plays, Ean Pfeifer’s play, Virginia Tech’s defensive physicality and what UofL must do to match it, and much more.
