Johnson was limited in non-conference play last season, missing the first four games of the year while struggling to see the court before the New Year. He broke out in ACC play, averaging 8.9 points, 4.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds in the final 15 games of the season. His most notable performance was at Duke on Jan. 18 when he scored 19 points with 7 assists and 4 rebounds in a 79-73 Cards win at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Johnson has already been selected to the Preseason All-ACC Second Team. Louisville tips off its 2020-2021 season against Evansville next Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. on ACC Network.
